Our patented technologies, embedded in established OEM products as ClearSign Core™, and ClearSign Eye™ and other sensing configurations, enhance the performance of combustion systems and fuel safety systems in a broad range of markets, including the energy (upstream oil production and down-stream refining), commercial/industrial boiler, chemical, petrochemical, transport and power industries.
SEATTLE, June 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ClearSign Combustion Corporation (NASDAQ: CLIR), an emerging leader in combustion and emissions control technology for industrial, commercial and utility markets, announced today that Chief Technology Officer Joseph Colannino will lead a technical presentation during the Air and Waste Management Association (A&WMA) Annual Conference & Exhibition, taking place June 24-27 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, Calif.
Mr. Colannino will present during the "NOx Control Technologies and Strategies II" session on Thursday, June 26 at 4PM. He will provide the audience, comprising subject matter experts from across the nation, with an in-depth look at NOx control strategies including ClearSign's innovative Duplex™ burner architecture.
The Duplex™ design has been demonstrated to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions to less than five parts per million in both forced draft and natural draft configurations without the use of flue gas recirculation, high levels of excess air or selective catalytic reduction systems. The ultra-short flame produced in the Duplex™ tile promises to improve radiant heat transfer while virtually eliminating the potential for flame impingement on process or steam tubes. As a result, this innovative combustion system promises to also enable increased firing rates, improved energy efficiency and reduced maintenance downtime and associated costs.
Mr. Colannino will show how ClearSign's innovation can be applied to the retrofit of industrial steam generators, package boilers and process heaters and to the design of next generation heaters of all types including the potential for residential heaters. He will explain how ClearSign's solution can achieve unprecedented environmental performance while actually increasing energy efficiency and process throughput to improve plant productivity and reduce ownership costs for system operators.
